MEMBERSHIP
You may be considering starting your own club. You may have your own club but seek other or extra services than you are already receiving. You may have outlived what you are doing and looking to further yourself. You may be happy with where you are but require that little extra. There are all kinds of reasons.
Whatever they are a MAAS membership can further your position and serve your personal wants and student’s needs. Going for the cheapest may serve your wants but not necessarily your needs.
Do you want to join and enjoy a martial art group or just be a number to an insurance group?
Students need a service and not just insurance. Instructors need to further themselves and not just stay isolated within their tiny club.
WHAT TYPE OF MEMBERSHIPS DO WE OFFER?
We have two types of membership “Full Membership” and “Satellite Membership.”
WHAT IS A SATELLITE MEMBERSHIP?
If you don’t want to be a full MAAS member happy where you are but want that something extra a Satellite Club is for you and cost nothing. Yes, that’s right, “nothing”. As said we are only interested in quality” and real people. However, Satellite Clubs are responsible for their own administration including insurance, health & safety. If they attend any seminars the fees maybe slightly more expensive, but nothing a working persons pocket could not afford.
BEING A MEMBER OF MAAS
Once we have processed your MAAS application and your application has been successful the following will be sent back to you. The full membership includes a public and indemnity club and instructor’s protection up to £5000,000. Your students must also be protected by “member to member” protection.
1. Club / Instructors insurance confirmation certificates.
2. Student’s application forms.
3. Your Students MAAS licence cards. (Only with first application, not renewals.)
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Your email address details will then go on a group system and you will receive regular information monthly and sometimes more.
